Grain and livestock futures ended the week lower to sharply lower. The USDA Quarterly Planting Intentions and Stocks on Hand Report was considered bearish with plenty of supply. Projected acres planted for corn was above the trade estimates. Livestock futures were lower as the Cattle on Feed Report late last week was bearish as well. Time will tell if the corn acres get planted considering the survey was based on March 1st intentions and the wet weather and flooding may significantly impact that going forward.
