The grain market was sharply higher for the week with wet weather and delayed planting again being the main focus. However late Thursday President Trump threatened tariffs on Mexico if they cannot control the immigrants coming into the country. This was the main focus for a lower trade on Friday’s action.
The livestock sector was lower for the week with higher corn prices seen as well as the potential tariffs hurting the export of meat to Mexico.
