Corn and wheat futures ended the week higher, while soybean futures ended  lower as traders await next week’s trade negotiations with China.  Early Friday the USDA confirmed China’s 11.8 million-bushel purchase of U.S. corn, its largest purchase in more than 5 years. Livestock was higher as China continues to buy US pork. The week saw concern over the flooding in the western corn belt and the implications for the growing season.
